Public Works

Public Works is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the City’s infrastructure, including publicly owned streets, the storm water management system, the sanitary sewer system, city facilities, all public water channels, assisting with recycling services and emergency support such as storm debris removal.

The City of Oak Grove employs contractors for street, landscape and facility maintenance as well as for engineering, design and construction work. Public Works regulates all construction in the City rights-of-way.

Any work being performed will be done in accordance to the Current APWA standards and/or the Oak Grove City Standard Specification and 2018 City of Oak Grove Standard Specifications and Design Criteria for Utility and Street Construction which can also be obtained at City Hall located at 2110 S Broadway in Oak Grove, MO.
