On April 3, 2024 The City of Oak Grove posted a press release stating they were set to make history with the swearing-in of an all-female Board of Aldermen and female Mayor, Dana R. Webb.
The April 2nd certified election results show that the City of Oak is set to make history with the re-election of Mayor Dana R. Webb and re-election of Alderwoman Pam Pope along with first term elected Alderwoman Cierra McMichael and first term elected Alderwoman Jamie Ballowe Ratliff.
This is the first all-female Board of Aldermen led by a female Mayor in the history of the City of Oak Grove, Jackson County, and the first recorded in the State of Missouri.
