Pam Pope, Alderwoman Ward II, was appointed to fill the vacant seat of Brad Alexander in November 2022.  In 2023, she was elected to a one year term.  She was re-elected in April of 2024.  She is currently serving as liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission. In April of 2025 Pope was elected as Mayor Pro tem.

Alderwoman Pope has lived in Oak Grove since 1972 and is a 1984 Oak Grove graduate.  She has two children Bob (daughter-in-law Angela) and Lacy Dehnert who are also Oak Grove graduates.  She also has three grandchildren who all live within the Oak Grove school district.  Pope works as manager of C & A Supply located in Oak Grove.  Her husband, children and daughter-in-law all work in Oak Grove and she is committed to the history and the future growth of the community.
