South Broadway Road ClosureROAD CLOSURES NOTIFICATION: Beginning Tuesday, September 30th, at 8am, construction crews working on the Broadway expansion project will start additional pouring of driving lanes. The pouring will start around 25th Street and move north. The following roads on the west side of Broadway are scheduled to be closed:
20th Street, 20th Terrace, 21st Street, 22nd Street.

The southbound lane of Broadway will be used for cement trucks. The traffic flow will use the east side of Broadway for both north and southbound traffic. Drivers in this area should maintain close attention to work crews and the possibility of vehicles approaching them from the opposite direction, in case a car slips past the flagging crews who will be stationed in the area.

There will be flaggers staged at 26th, 24th, 19th, 18th, 16th, 15th &
14th Streets. These flaggers will be directing the traffic flow while additional lanes are being poured.

On Thursday, October 2nd crews will be pouring from 25th St to the south end of the project. Lane closure and flagging will be required for this operation.

These street closures and the use of flaggers are being put to use to decrease the time used to complete the rest of lane pouring & thereby in the near future, open all driving lanes on new pavement.

The 25mph speed limit is still in effect and remains in effect all hours of every day, whether or not work crews are in the area.
