    May 17, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Lower Level of the New City Hall

    Board of Aldermen meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:00 PM in the lower level of City Hall. If a holiday falls on the day of the meeting, it is moved to the Tuesday immediately following unless otherwise stated. All meetings are open to the public and the agendas are posted at City Hall and are also available for viewing or download on this website.

Parks and Recreation

  1. Adult Coed Sand Volleyball League

    May 17, 2021, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Webb Park

    This is a recreational co-ed league for people age 18 and over. It's all about relaxing and having fun with your friends/family! Games will be played on Monday evenings starting at 6:30pm in Webb Park on the sand volleyball courts. Each team's win/loss record during league play will earn their seeding for the single elimination tournament. This tournament will determine the league champion. Please have your team representative sign up by Friday, May 7th. To register, you can call 816-690-4003, come in to our Parks and Recreation office located inside the Fieldhouse, or go online to our software to register yourself. Here is the link to the software: In order to be compliant with Jackson County Health Department Covid-19 guidelines, we ask you to please wear a face mask and remain socially distanced from others while not on the court.
